Lots of you have been asking me about whether I can offer customisation of clothing using embroidery. Until now I was only able to offer you high quality custom printing using my BN-20 printing machine.

Well the good news is that I listened to you. I am really excited to announce that I have just taken delivery of my very own Hemms 15 Needle Professional Embroidery machine!! I can now embroider your chosen product using a wide range of beautiful coloured threads. It gives a really high end look and I am so pleased to be able to offer this new service to you.

Perhaps you want your name or logo embroidered on a polo shirt or a PE kit? Or have you thought about giving embroidered his and hers dressing gowns as a wedding gift? Opportunities are endless, just let me know what you would like and together we can make it happen.

On 17 October 2022 my BN20 printer arrived. I was so excited to test it out and start work on my first orders. The quality is incredible, using Coral Graphics I now have all the tools I need to bring your brand to life. Becks' Custom Design is officially open for business!!!

Thank you so much to my fellow local Sheppey businesses, Diamond Pest Control and Relax with Rebecca, for being my very first customers! I hope you loved your orders as I was so happy with the results.

Now that I have my printer I am able to start showcasing some examples of my work. I hope the pictures below give you an idea of the customisation that is possible and the products that we can create together. Anyone need a personalised wedding gift, party stickers or a Christmas tote bag?

In September 2022 I decided to start on the exciting journey of creating my own business, Becks' Custom Design. Through this blog I would like to share my journey with you

I had taken stock of my life and

decided that it was time to do something that I loved for a living. I wanted to be in charge of my destiny and I wanted more time with my family. I considered all options but the idea of setting up my own business just wouldn't go away.

I considered and discounted lots of ideas but the one at the back of my mind, having my own custom design business, was the only idea that really felt right. I love being creative and in my previous role the process of helping customers to design and see their personalised products come to fruition had been a fantastic experience. Why not make that my own business?

Having worked as a Clothing Production Manager for over five years in Sheerness, I was experienced with different printing and embroidery techniques. I also had a strong network of contacts on the Isle of Sheppey, having lived and worked there for most of my life. I thought I knew the market and had a good business idea but could I make it work? Did I have enough self belief and could I take the risk of going it alone?

For a long time I debated whether investing in a printer and launching my own business was the right move. I spoke to many past colleagues, friends, family and business owners in the area to decide whether my idea would have merit. Would I have any customers? Could I navigate the process of setting up a business? What about the competition?

With lots of support behind me, I decided to take the plunge and started the process of naming my business, finding financial support, setting up a bank account and this web site and yes ordering my very own printing machine and heat press. In fact with help from family and friends the process has been a lot of fun! There is still a lot to learn but I'm sure I can do it!

I'm pleased to report that my new printer, the BN-20, arrives on the 17 October 2022 and I already have my first customers lined up! Thank you to them for believing in me!!

I am so very excited (and a little bit scared) to be on the verge of producing and sending out my first products and also through this blog to start sharing examples of my work with you.
